Nase: Bourbon, Vanille, Salzkaramell. würziges Holz, Holzkohle.

Gaumen: sanft, cremige, Zitrusnoten, Vanille, erdig, Teer mineralisch.

Abgang: lang, angenehme Süße, feine Rauchnote. Ein wenig Salz.

Dieser Single Malt Whisky wurde aus Gerste destilliert, die auf der Halbinsel Kintyre, nur wenige Meilen von Springbank entfernt, angebaut wird. Die Gerste wird dann auf den Malzböden mit traditionellen Herstellungsverfahren gemälzt, bevor sie zu Alkohol verarbeitet, zu Whisky gereift und vor Ort abgefüllt wird, sodass es sich um einen 100 %igen Campbeltown Single Malt handelt.

Nose: Characteristically fruity from the outset, there are notes of papaya, mango and lemon on the nose, along with a subtle floral note.

Palate: The citrus element continues on the palate, combines with notes of manuka honey and pear drops. A salty, mineral note develops.

Finish: Soft peat smoke comes through in the finish to round off this dram.
